Scientists have discovered more than ten kinds of human longevity-related genes

U.S. scientists have recently passed on the budding yeast and nematodes in genetic analysis identified a total of 25 two kinds of biological life is responsible for regulating the length of genes.

Institutions such as Washington University scientists say that in this 25 "longevity genes", at least 15 in the human genome in similar version of the memory. This means that scientists may be to lock in the human body's genetic targets, and study how to slow down the aging process, the treatment caused by aging-related diseases.

For this reason, from two kinds of creatures have identified a common and life-related genes appears to be significant. In addition, the human genome, there are more than a dozen similar genes exist, which indicates that similar genes are likely to also be able to control people's life.

The University of Washington biochemist Brian Kennedy, said they hope that through genetic engineering approaches regulation of the human body's "longevity genes", not only to extend life expectancy, but also to extend the "healthy life", that is, human life in the body health, free from diseases caused by the impact of aging time
